I’m A Celebrity: Helen Lederer Signs Up

She was originally rumoured to be entering the Celebrity Big Brother, but now, it’s reported that Helen Lederer may be heading for the I’m A Celebrity jungle instead.

Another day, another I’m A Celeb rumour to make us seriously excited for the upcoming series.

Fans were disappointed when, despite her name being included on the leaked line-up, Helen didn’t enter this summer’s Big Brother house on launch night.

The Absolutely Fabulous star later explained what happened, telling the Evening Standard: “I think they thought they saw me going into the hotel which the producers put the contestants in.

“But it wasn’t me, it was Sam Fox. We do look similar from behind, you know.”

Now though, a source has ‘confirmed’ to The Sun Online that Helen has signed a deal for an appearance in the I’m A Celebrity jungle.

It’s alleged that bosses were close to signing her for Celebrity Big Brother, but that, after ‘weeks of negotiations’, Helen pulled out of plans ‘at the last minute’, holding for ‘more money’ from the jungle-based ITV show.

Other names rumoured for the next series of I’m A Celebrity include Nigel Farage, Spencer Matthews (and his ex girlfriend) and Michael Jackson’s former doctor, Conrad Murray.
