I'm A Celebrity's Stanley Johnson has only been out the jungle five minutes, but he's already making headlines.

During an appearance on Good Morning Britain today (December 7), he referred to his son Boris Johnson as "prime minister". (Of course, Boris is the foreign secretary, not the PM.)

We're not sure what the actual prime minister Theresa May will have to say about that, but the reality favourite tried to explain himself on ITV's Lorraine afterwards.

He said: "Oh my gosh, that was just a slip of the tongue! I was like Rip Van Winkle emerging from seclusion. I hadn't had any news. But now [Boris and I] have exchanged WhatsApps, and he said 'Good show, Dad, everyone is rooting for you'.

"Of course I got it wrong about him being prime minister. It was just a slip of the tongue."

Stanley then went on to open up about his time in the jungle. Over the last couple of weeks, he has lost a considerable amount of weight.

When the series started, he weighed 92 kilos, now however, he weighs in at 82 kilos.

"I haven't been this weight since 1954," he laughed. "I am thrilled and plan to keep [my weight] that way. But it is a complicated way of losing weight!"

Now he's out of the jungle, Stanley revealed that he is hoping his buddy, Made in Chelsea star Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo, wins the series.

He added: "I'm rooting for Toff. Why shouldn't she win? The future is in her hands."

According to the latest bookies' odds, Toff is tipped to be crowned jungle queen at 1/5, followed closely behind by Iain Lee at 1/7.

Unfortunately, at 100/1, former footballer Dennis Wise is expected to get eliminated next.

Good Morning Britain is on ITV, weekdays at 6am. Lorraine is on ITV, weekdays at 8.30am.
