Ian Downgraded to Post-Tropical Cyclone After Making Landfall in South Carolina

Storm Ian was downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone after making landfall as a hurricane in South Carolina on Friday, September 30.

The National Hurricane Center said dangerous storm surge continues along the coast of the Carolinas, and “considerable flooding” is expected along portions of coastal and northeast South Carolina on September 30.
