What happened in Liverpool dressing room at half-time as 'aggressive' Arne Slot message emerges
Ibrahima Konate has revealed the half-time message Arne Slot gave his Liverpool players to help them move top of the Premier League. The Reds held off a strong challenge from rock-bottom Wolves to win 2-1 at Molineux on Saturday evening to move a point clear at the summit of the embryonic table.
Konate had opened the scoring during the additional time period of a first half in which Liverpool were way below their best for large periods of the game.
The France international was then involved in a mix-up with Alisson Becker shortly before the hour mark that gifted Rayan Ait-Nouri an equaliser only for Mohamed Salah to strike the winner a few minutes later from the spot.

And Konate admits Liverpool head coach Slot was unimpressed with the opening half and detailed how the Reds needed to change to ensure a seventh win in eight games in all competitions this season.
"It was a big fight against Wolves," said the centre-back. "The most important thing for us was to take the three points.
"We are very happy and now we have to be focused for the next game. But we have to learn about what we missed – and I think this is the most important (thing).
"The first half was very hard for the team because we were late, and this is what the manager said (at half-time) - we need more concentration and more aggression when we start the pressing.
"I think when we came back for the second half we did it well in the first 15 minutes but afterwards it was a big battle again. But we expected this - we have to keep this on our mind and learn about what we missed."
Konate's goal - heading in a cross from the left wing by Diogo Jota - was his second in his last three Liverpool games but his first in the Premier League since arriving from RB Leipzig more than three years ago.
And he added: "I hope it's not the last. Yes, I'm very happy. It was a very nice cross from Jots. Okay, I scored but the most important thing is that we won.
"We work a lot on that and I hope me and Virg (van Dijk) will score more goals this season."
After entertaining Bologna in the Champions League on Wednesday, Liverpool conclude a run of seven games in 22 days with a trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday lunchtime. The Premier League difficulty is then ramped up following the return from the October international break with home games against Chelsea, Brighton and Aston Villa and a trip to title contenders Arsenal.
And speaking to LFC TV, Konate said: "Now we have to learn a lot of things about what we saw and I think the games will start to be more harder, more harder, more harder. Now we have to work more in training to be more concentrated during the game.
"We are top of the league but it's too early to think about anything. But we have to keep going and we will see what will happen."
