Iced pumpkin cream chai recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

  • 1/4 cup semi-skimmed milk or non-dairy alternative

  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup of chai, prepared as per packet instructions

  • Drizzle of honey

  • Ice

  • Sprinkle of mixed spice or pumpkin spice seasoning

Method

  1. In a glass or a cup, pour in the cream, milk, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, honey and spice seasoning before using a whisk to mix it all together until it's light and fluffy - this will be the cream that you put on top of the drink.

  2. Meanwhile, prepare half a cup of chai as per the jar instructions. The recipe uses chai concentrate topped up with milk, but you can also make instant chai for the same flavour if you can't get your hands on this.

  3. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in the chai, adding more milk if you prefer. Then, pour the pumpkin scream over the top as well, allowing all of the flavours to infuse together.

  4. Sprinkle a little more spice seasoning on top, and it's ready to serve.
