Supermarkets are packed with new food and drink products at this time of year, and there's one in particular that's proving popular with shoppers.

Iceland has launched a pack of Coca-Cola cans shaped like the iconic truck from the much-loved TV ads, which for many people signals the start of the festive season. Photos of the cardboard packs have been shared on social media and liked by thousands of Coke fans. But many of them are making the same comment - and it's all about the price.

The pack contains six standard size 330ml cans of the soft drink and costs £7, almost twice the price of its normal pack, which it sells for £4.20 and a lot more than its 24-packs for £14.

But clearly not everyone's impressed. "Hang on, are they charging £7 for a 6 pack of coke, just because it's wrapped in some fancy cardboard?!" said one on social media.

"7 quid for 6 cans. It's a joke," said another. "Paying double for cardboard, offer for idiots."

But others have branded the product 'cute' and said it makes it a gift and something special for fans of the drink. "I love this," commented one shopper, with another adding: "Not many cans but it's cute."

It's not the only Iceland product getting shoppers excited this Christmas though. We reported last month how shoppers are going crazy about the return of a festive snack at the frozen food retailer.

It's brought back a number of products as part of its Cathedral City range and among them is the Cathedral City Pigs in Blankets Toastie, which has been a firm favourite in previous years.

The supermarket's Christmas dinner in a box is also proving popular. Its Luxury Christmas Dinner comes together in one convenient box, costing £25. See what we thought of it here.
