Iceland shoppers say 'the gods have spoken' as it launches giant Walkers crisps advent calendar
It's almost that time of year when we start opening the doors to our advent calendars and it's not just chocolate on the cards. Iceland is selling one that's 'a dream' for savoury fans - in the form of a giant Walkers crisps calendar.
There's a full size standard 25g packet of crisps behind each door, with flavours including Prawn Cocktail, Ready Salted, Cheese & Onion and Salt & Vinegar. You get six of each flavour with 24 doors to open on the front and back of the box.

Shoppers have been getting excited over the product, which has been flying off the shelves as we count down to the big day. Photos of the calendar shared on social media have attracted thousands of comments from crisp fans.
"The gods have spoken," said one, commenting on a Facebook page for snack reviews. "Now we are talking," said another, while a third described it as 'the perfect calendar'.
Not everyone was impressed with the price - it costs £10 at Iceland and The Food Warehouse - with some suggesting you 'could buy a few multipacks for that price'.
But one shopper responding saying: "It's a treat for Christmas. Buy your multipacks the rest of the year and stop being so tight."
It's not the only product to go viral from the retailer.
We reported last week how shoppers are going crazy about the return of a festive snack at the frozen food retailer.
It's brought back a number of products as part of its Cathedral City range and among them is the Cathedral City Pigs in Blankets Toastie, which has been a firm favourite in previous years and is once again getting customers in a tizz.
The toasties are currently reduced from £3.50 to £2.75 and can be cooked in either the oven, the microwave or an air fryer.
There are loads of other products in the Cathedral City range, with everything from Our Cheesy Hash Brown Pockets and Our Mac 'n' Cheese, to Our Cheesy Cottage Pie and Our Cheesy Lasagne.
The frozen food retailer, which also has The Food Warehouse stores, says this year's Christmas range will be 'bigger, better and tastier than ever', with 'everything from traditional Christmas favourites to exclusive brands and luxurious party food'.
Dave Lennox, head of development at Iceland, said: “Our customers love variety without compromising on cost, and Christmas is no exception. We’ve focused on perfecting the classics and making them the best and most delicious yet, as well as offering our customers a range of innovative and affordable new Christmas products which are sure to delight everyone at the dinner table."
Iceland’s Christmas products are available from November 12, with customers also able to pre-order products online from November 11. The Cathedral City range is already in stores.
