Yahoo News Iceland's Slimming World Lunch Bowls Are Going To Change Your Life
If you are one of the thousands of people in the UK following Slimming World’s healthy eating plan (including me), you’ll know there are times when you just feel like you’ve run out of ideas for lunches.
Or, like many of us, you simply don’t have time to pull something together the night before.
Luckily, Iceland has swooped in to save us from another panicked rummage through the food-to-go section of your nearest shop with this new lunchtime solution.
As well as helping us out with their ready meals, soups, sauces and sausages, burgers and meatballs, Slimming World and Iceland have created these tasty-looking lunch bowls
The range, which has just gone on sale today, includes:
Coronation chicken
Moroccan-style couscous
Mushroom risotto
Pasta Bolognese
Chorizo-style meatball past
Naked beef burrito (I had this for my lunch today, and it was very tasty. Not that you asked…)
Each one of these new 400g lunch bowls can be found in the freezer section, and you can microwave them from frozen, or defrost them to cut the cooking time. They’re all on sale at Iceland stores for £2.50 each.
As well as these new lunchtime treats, Iceland and Slimming World have also released a new range of sides, including soy and chilli greens, roasting root vegetables and Mediterranean-style vegetables. Each pack will set you back £1.75.
How about Diet Coke chicken with a side of soya and chilli greens for dinner? Oh, and a Pink ‘N’ White for pudding, obvs.
