One of Glasgow's best-known bars has been put on the market alongside its upstairs cocktail bar and restaurant.

The Drake, which sits just off Woodlands Road close to Charing Cross, as well as Rascal cocktail bar and restaurant Faim, have been offered as a leasehold for offers over £195,000.

Listed as a “multi venue licensed premises over two floors”, the venue also holds a license for spaces at the front and rear - including an enclosed beer garden.

Business agents Smith & Clough say the venue has 'huge growth potential', with the restaurant, which is popular with residents and visitors alike, established by the current owner in 2010 on Lydenoch Street, close to the upmarket Park Circus and thriving Woodlands Road.

The Drake bar offers 60 covers, while the restaurant Faim seats 38 and the Rascal bar holds 24.

The restaurant, Faim, just recently opened following the closure of Hooligan.

The listing states: “The Drake trades very much as a local’s bar, with a loyal and regular clientele, with a good mix of young professionals and students, and serves a good selection of quality pub grub with a focus on burgers and an extensive drinks selection. It is popular for live sporting events and also hosts a weekly pub quiz and live music/trad sessions.”
