Iconic Italian sportswear brand ellesse opens first UK store at Scots designer outlet

An iconic Italian sportswear brand has opened its first UK outlet store in Dumfries and Galloway.

ellesse has opened the doors at its new shop at Gretna’s Caledonia Park Designer Outlet just in time for the Black Friday weekend.

The opening of the store, which is offering T-shirts, tracksuits, hoodies and more for men, women and children, has created seven new jobs.

ellesse was founded in Puglia in Italy in 1959 and is the latest addition to Caledonia Park in 2024, with clothing giants Boss also setting up shop earlier in the year.

And customers heading along to ellesse during the Black Friday weekend can enjoy an extra 30 per cent off outlet prices.
