Graham Norton tells Piers Morgan ‘grow a pair’ over Ewan McGregor row

The Good Morning Britain host felt the chef’s wrath after she was approached by one of the show’s researchers to be interviewed by Piers.

Ruby came out as gay on Twitter in 2015, inspiring an avalanche of tweets of support, of love and of other people coming out, and it seems she was not prepared to have shreds torn off her by Piers and his ‘attack dog’ interview style.

“I know it’s just your job so no hard feelings, but Piers Morgan is a sentient ham and frankly I’d rather die,” she wrote on Twitter.

She added: “not today satan”. Cue radio silence from Piers. Well, for three hours at least.

Ruby came third on The Great British Bake Off and since appearing on the show she has written a cook book and is a regular columnist for The Guardian.

She’s also become something of a Twitter star. Last year, she branded Paul Hollywood a “peacocking manchild” after he turned his back on the BBC to follow GBBO to Channel 4.
