Idina Menzel Meets Queen Elsa For The First Time (In Forever) At Disney World “Frozen” Attraction

Tony award-winning Broadway star, Idina Menzel, was blasted into a blizzard of popularity after she voiced Elsa in Frozen; the highest grossing animated film of all time.

It’s hardly surprising that beyond the Frozen-themed homeware, stationary, toys, and the soundtrack that we can’t stop singing, you can now enter a world of Summer Frozen Fun in the latest attraction to arrive at Walt Disney World, Florida aka the happiest place on Earth.

On Wednesday, Menzel made a pit stop to meet her on-screen snow Queen counterpart at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park. Two Elsa’s in one place? Mind blown.

The 44-year old star is just one of many celebrities that have graced the park, including Britney Spears, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba (below) and Tim Allen who came face to face with his very own animated character, Buzz Lightyear!

The reception certainly wasn’t frosty for Idina, who was taking a break from her world tour to catch up with Elsa, Anna and everyone’s favourite eternal snowman Olaf, this was one photo opportunity not to be missed!

Menzel has previously been compared to Elsa after changing her hair colour from brunette to blonde, s’no joke.

“They say I did it because I was inspired by my Elsa character, which I found very insulting… That I would wake up one day and want to be blonde, so I could look like an animated character…” she commented.

“I just never, ever do anything with my hair and I finished my Broadway show. Eight shows a week, same thing.”

Nevertheless, she recently went back to her trusted brunette roots and joked, “I look just like her! Oh Elsa, thank you so much. We’re exactly the same aren’t we? Those skinny balletic arms and that tiny waist!” Maybe it’s time to let it go

The release date for the highly anticipated Frozen sequel is yet to be confirmed, so in the meantime, sit back and chill out with Olaf…
