Idyllic sunny island where you can buy a pint for under £1
For those of us who enjoy a nice glass of beer, times are tough. Prices have become eye-watering in recent years as pubs and bars have put up their prices amid the cost of living crisis. But there are some places you can still get a bargain pint - and enjoy some nice sunny weather to boot.
In Lanzarote, you can cool off with a nice refreshing pint while taking in views of a beautiful golden beach and blue-green water. Best of all, it won't break the bank. A bar on the island is offering pints for only €1. According to a video shared on TikTok, @sunloungelanzarote is serving up cheap booze daily between 12pm and 5pm.
So if you're heading out to the holiday hotspot to top up your tan over the next few months, it's something you may want to bear in mind. Over a video of a tempting beverage, the Sun Lounge wrote: "Yes. €1 pints and stunning sea views only at Sun Lounge Lanzarote."

There's lots to see and do in Lanzarote aside from enjoying cheap booze. You can enjoy mild winter temperatures ranging between 20°C to 26°C. The pleasant weather is perfect for hiking, exploring the volcanic landscapes of Lanzarote, and beach-strolling on Playa Grande and Playa de los Pocillos.
The clear, warm waters around Puerto del Carmen are excellent for snorkelling and diving to explore vibrant marine life, including colourful fish and underwater volcanic formations, without the high summer swell. The old town of Puerto del Carmen is a picturesque area with narrow streets, traditional Canarian architecture, and a bustling harbour with all kinds of culinary options.
You can fly to Lanzarote direct from Liverpool John Lennon Airport with easyJet, Jet2 or Ryanair. The flight time is just over four hours.
