'I'll be back': David Cameron speaks in Arnold Schwarzenegger Snapchat video

Arnold Schwarzenegger treated viewers of his Snapchat story to a glimpse of former Prime Minister David Cameron.

In the video, the movie star says: "I'm here with my good friend David Cameron, from England, the ex-Prime Minister".

Mr Cameron replies: "I'm with the Governor, he did a great job, and I'll be back".

They could be in Los Angeles, from where the ex-Governor posted a video responding to a Donald Trump the previous day.

The president ended a rambling monologue about his time on The Apprentice by making a jibe at the movie star, saying he was "praying for Arnold Schwarzenegger" after his "disaster ratings".

Mr Schwarzenegger did not take this lying down and quickly posted a video to his Twitter account.

He said: "Hey Donald, I have a great idea. Why don’t we switch jobs? You take over TV, because you’re such an expert in ratings, and I take over your job, and then people can finally sleep comfortably again."

However, this cannot take place, as the movie star is constitutionally ineligible to be president because he was born in Austria and became a U.S. citizen in 1983.

Despite saying "I'll be back", David Cameron is busying himself with endeavours outside of Wesminster politics.

He vowed that 'dementia is not inevitable' as he became the new President of Alzheimer’s Research UK.

"Tackling dementia was a major focus while I was Prime Minister, and although improvements in attention and research innovation have been rapid, it remains one of our greatest health challenges," he said at the time.

"So I’m delighted to take up the Presidency of Alzheimer’s Research UK, an ambitious charity driving medical research to fight this devastating condition.

"As well as being a world-leading research organisation, the charity is also fighting the misconceptions of dementia that persist in society. Dementia is not inevitable and research is our greatest weapon against it.

"I’m committed to helping Alzheimer’s Research UK transform the lives of those affected by this life-shattering condition.”
