We have bad news for all of the ladies and gents who have fallen in love with comedian Joel Dommett over the last three weeks, with it being reported that the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! finalist is considering a permanent move to Australia.

Wah – please don’t leave us, Joel, we all want to marry you.

Joel finished in second place to Gogglebox star’s Scarlett Moffatt during last night’s episode of the reality show, and now a source has dished that the 30-year-old star has been hoping to make a name for himself in Melbourne for a while now.

The insider told The Sun: “Joel has been dreaming about a move to Oz because he thinks he can carve a name for himself out there.

“He’s also weighing up areas in New Zealand too.”

Before entering the jungle Joel had hinted to a move to the other side of the globe, saying at the time: “I have a lot of fondness for Melbourne and its comedy festivals.

“I would love to keep going back and just seeing what happens. That’s my focus now.”

It’s unknown whether Joel’s experiences of being in Oz – including being forced to eat a goat’s penis and a pig snout – will interfere with his fond appreciation for the country.

After leaving the Aussie outback last night, Joel said of his time on the show: “I knew it was going to be a good experience. I didn’t think the highs would be so high and the lows would be so low. It was incredible.

“I’m going to miss the simplicity of it. It’s so simple in there.”

Joel was relatively unknown before taking part in I’m A Celeb but has since gained a huge following across the country.
