I'm A Celebrity 2016: Adam Thomas and Martin Roberts' bush tucker trial just broke the Internet

Jungle campmates Adam Thomas and Martin Roberts have been fan favourites for the bush tucker trials this year. Mostly because of Adam’s excellent facial expressions and the pure pleasure of watching Martin squirm.

And neither of the lads disappointed as they took on the Pick n Critz challenge. It was a relatively simple task – they had to pick from a choice of critters to hold in their mouths for 30 seconds.

Among the treats were cockroaches, a giant cricket and a mahoosive spider.

As well all know, poor Ads is well and truly petrified of the eight-legged critters. So everyone was gobsmacked when he opted for the spider to sit in his gob.

The giant water spider’s legs poked out of Adam’s mouth as the Emmerdale star got paler by the second.

But respect to him, he DID it. And was chuffed to bits with himself after.

And after that, downing the juice of some fish eyeballs was easy peasy and the boys walked away with a full house of stars.

But no mouthwash. Sadly.

Obviously, social media exploded at this point and Adam Thomas is now the stuff of legends.

Even Cheryl Fernandez-Versini couldn’t believe her eyes.

Loads of others reckon facing his biggest fear has won the show for him.
