I’m A Celebrity 2016: Sam Allardyce could pocket HUGE deal after England exit

Disgraced football boss Sam Allardyce could be set to appear in the next series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Big Sam had his contract as England manager terminated after just one game following allegations of bending FA rules, but he might be about to accept a “huge” offer from ITV.

According to The Mirror, Allardyce’s odds of appearing in the jungle have been slashed to 20/1 – while he is 33/1 to appear in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother.

Speaking outside his Bolton home, the 61-year-old commented on the scandal and revealed that he was “off abroad to chill out and reflect” – could that be secret code for an expedition to the Australian outback?

Well, a spokesperson at Coral bookmakers seemed to think so, as they explained to Standard Online: “With no football to think about right now, a new path might be beckoning for Big Sam and if the odds are anything to go by, a stint in the jungle might be on the cards.”

Elsewhere, Carol Vorderman could be heading down under to star in the next series of I’m A Celebrity after she was reportedly offered a six-figure sum to sign up for the reality series as the “brains” of the camp.

Meanwhile Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews and Lauren Hutton, Team GB Olympic gymnast Louis Smith, and former Strictly Come Dancing rivals Ola Jordan and Aliona Vilani have also been shortlisted.

Craig Charles is also allegedly making a return to the show two years after he was forced to withdraw as a campmate after hearing the news of his brother’s shock death.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returns to ITV later this year, with new spin-off show I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp airing straight afterwards on ITV2.
