Coleen Rooney 'set to bank £10m' as I'm a Celebrity 2024's biggest winners revealed
Here are the biggest winners of the I'm a Celebrity 2024 series including Coleen Rooney, Danny Jones, Oti Mabuse, GK Barry and Tulisa, according to PR experts.
I'm a Celebrity's Coleen Rooney may have lost the crown to King of the Jungle Danny Jones.
Yet the mum could be set to make £10m next year — making her the biggest winner from the 2024 series, according to PR experts.
Speaking on behalf of Slingo, Lynn Carratt, the PR and talent manager for Press Box told Yahoo UK: "Coleen is on the brink of becoming the primary earner in her relationship with Wayne for the first time in her career. Her future earnings are expected to soar after leaving the jungle whether she wins or not. Her down-to-earth personality has won her a new army of fans."
"The sky's the limit and she could easily earn up to £10m next year, as she has more time to focus on her career," she added.
Chief Executive at PR agency Go Up, Edward Coram James, also has predicted that Mrs Rooney could be set for a big payday. "Coleen surprised us all." He told Yahoo: "Now’s the time for her to build on this. She could smash it with family-friendly brands like Aldi or Next, but why not go a bit bigger?
"A Boden campaign, maybe a homeware range with a big retailer, or even a wellness collaboration — she’s got so much potential. If she leans into her authenticity and doesn’t overdo it, she could easily earn £8–10m in the next year. This is her chance to own her story and step out of the "WAG" box for good."
I'm a Celebrity transforms stars' careers
I'm a Celebrity is known to give stars a career boost. One of the most famous instances includes former celebrity couple Katie Price and Peter Andre who cashed in on their romance following the 2004 series.
Yes they fell madly in love and had two children Princess and Junior but they also become the stars of reality TV shows together, collaborated on brand deals, sang together and more. Their high-profile marriage and lucrative partnership came to a dramatic end in 2009.
More recently one of the most notable I'm a Celebrity campmates to get a starry boost includes radio star Jordan North, who now has massively increased his platform since starring on the show.
Like radio personality North, Rooney came second but PR experts believe she leads the I'm a Celebrity 2024 cast winners in terms of boosting her career. The other notable campmates include: King of the Jungle Danny Jones, Oti Mabuse, GK Barry and Tulisa.
Coleen Rooney could make £10m
The WAG was rumoured to be the highest paid I'm a Celebrity contestant, with claims that she banked more than £1.5m for her time on the ITV show. ITV never confirm the money paid to the celebrities taking part.
Carratt lifted the lid on the lucrative deals that Rooney may be offered in the coming months off the back of the jungle experience.
She told Yahoo: "She made everyone laugh with her Butlins holiday story and the holiday chain are already offering customers a discounted deal if you use her name to book and there is a call for her to become the new face of the company, which could land her a multi-million pound deal.
"Brands will be lining up to work with her when she leaves the jungle, I can see her working with brands like Tesco or Aldi and having a fashion range with someone like Very. She has also become the Ambassador for Applied Nutrition, a collagen supplement.
"There is even speculation about her hosting a podcast or her own TV show and campmate Alan is keen to get her on Coronation Street."
Her husband Wayne is currently the manager of Plymouth Argyle. During the height of his career, he played for Manchester United. After showing how down-to-earth she is on TV, Mrs Rooney proved she is very much a star in her own right.

Danny Jones could make £3-5m
The next biggest winner from I'm a Celebrity of course is the King of the Jungle himself. McFly's Jones could make £3m in brand deals, according to PR experts, plus the musician could branch out into TV presenting after coming across well on-screen.
"Danny Jones is likeable, funny, energetic and proved an instant hit with the public," Carratt said. "It’s not his first reality TV win, after a memorable appearance as Piranha which saw him crowned champion of the Masked Singer earlier this year. Not only is he talented, he is liked by viewers.
"He is most well-known for music, so being in the jungle till the end gave fans a real opportunity to see him outside of his normal existence. I don't believe Danny went into the jungle to further his career; it was a bucket list thing for him to do.
"Having said that, is it a chance for him to make some money off the back of his win? He could certainly make around £3 million from brand deals, particularly retail favourites like Boots and Marks and Spencer. He may also be able to diversify into TV presenting as he comes across very well on camera. I'm sure he'll be ending 2024 on a high, his 2025 is already looking hectic, he'll likely be back on our screens with a new series of The Voice and he's off on the McFly vs Busted tour."
Coram James agreed that Jones has a lot of potential and "the jungle probably wasn't about making money" for him. Despite becoming King of the Jungle, the PR expert believes Jones' focus will always remain on music and McFly.
He added: "For Danny, it was a bucket list experience, inspired by Dougie’s win. If Danny decides to take this newfound fame and run with it, there’s so much potential for him in brand partnerships. He could easily work with family-oriented brands, like Sky or Decathlon, or activewear brands like JD Sports.
"But I don’t think Danny will ever walk away from McFly. Music is his passion, and that’s always going to be his focus. I could see him picking up £3–5m in brand deals while still staying loyal to the band, and that’s where he’ll truly thrive. Music will always be his foundation, but there’s room for him to explore both worlds."

Oti Mabuse could make in excess of £2m
Former Strictly pro Mabuse could also cash in following her stint on I'm a Celebrity. The professional dancer is fairly new to juggling becoming a mum and her high-profile TV career but she proved she's very much one to watch in the TV circles.
Carratt said: "Oti did really well in the jungle and obviously wanted to do I’m a Celebrity as a challenge for herself. It’s great she has the support around her to be able to do it. Career wise Oti is arguably the most successful professional dancer after leaving Strictly and has already hosted her own Saturday night TV show.
"The jungle also gave us the double act we never knew we needed with Oti and Melvin Odoom and I’d love to see them have their own TV game show, or their own podcast. I’m sure Oti will make in excess of £2m after the jungle with TV, podcast and brand deals. Something like a fashion deal with Very would go well."
While Coram James agreed that Mabuse was "fun" to watch in the jungle, the PR expert confessed there is a "limit to how far the Strictly glow can carry someone".
He added: "Don’t get me wrong, she’s fantastic at what she does, but I do feel that her future is a bit more uncertain than it seems at first glance. The market for dance competitions is already flooded, and while Oti is exceptional, there are other rising stars in the entertainment world who are younger and have more marketable, diverse appeal.
"I’d argue that Oti has two options ahead of her: 1) Continue to ride the wave of strictly-judging and dancing roles, but she’ll need to find new ways to keep the public engaged, or 2) Completely reinvent herself by diversifying her career into something completely unexpected. But there’s a risk with that too — people will always see her as "the dancer." It’s a double-edged sword."
GK Barry to be the next Olivia Atwood
Saving Grace podcaster GK Barry emerged from the jungle a star. Everyone fell in love watching her close bond with Rev Richard Coles on-screen and this certainly won her a place on the list.
Now GK Barry could become the next Olivia Attwood, who first burst onto our screens on Love Island in the ITV show's heyday. Attwood has continued to build her brand and she's got lots going for her: her Bad Boyfriends series has been commissioned for a second series, she's a regular panellist on Loose Women and she's got a podcast.
Carratt said: "GK Barry really came into her own in the jungle, and her friendship with Rev Richard Coles was a highlight for viewers. She successfully managed to flip viewers' opinion on her after their initial first impressions.
"Her decent stint in the jungle could significantly boost her career. In essence, she is on a similar path as someone like Olivia Atwood, who is making waves with her documentaries and her own dating show. With her podcast boasting 3.6 million listeners, if she can transition that success to a TV show, she could also secure lucrative brand deals."
PR guru Coram James branded her the I'm a Celebrity star "to watch". "She’s a new-age social media personality and influencer who’s truly breaking through with her unapologetic, unfiltered personality," he said. "Where do I see her going next? A massive career in mainstream entertainment. We’ve already seen her land podcast deals and major partnerships, but I think GK Barry could become a major TV personality."
He added: "Her charm, wit, and ability to connect with her audience would make her a perfect fit for a TV hosting role — think Love Island, The Voice UK, or even reality TV shows. The key will be for her to leverage her following while diversifying her brand. She’s someone who doesn’t take herself too seriously, and that’s a huge asset. If she can keep her authenticity while stepping into larger spaces, she could easily be worth millions in brand partnerships and TV roles."
Tulisa could be back on TV
Tulisa Contostavlos may have done a disappearing act after her shock exit from I'm a Celebrity but she could be a big winner from the series.
Go Up's Coram James said her return to TV with I'm a Celebrity was always a "calculated move". He said: "Outside of the jungle, Tulisa is hardly a stranger to the media circus. Yes, she’s been low-key for years, but she never really disappeared. N-Dubz is still a prominent name, and she’s been active behind the scenes. Coming back with I'm a Celeb 2024 isn’t just a return; it’s a calculated media move."
Tulisa recently told Fearne Cotton that she plans to quit the music industry in two years time. But what about before then? Coram James said: "Rather than simply jumping into brand deals or TV appearances, Tulisa could launch her own YouTube channel, Instagram series, or even a podcast. She’s a skilled communicator, and with her lived experience — from pop stardom to the fallout and her quiet return — she could have a lot to offer in terms of storytelling and advice.
"A podcast series or a YouTube vlog that dives into mental health, the highs and lows of fame, and even the behind-the-scenes of music or TV would resonate well with audiences. Tulisa could generate anywhere from £1-2 m or more in the coming year, depending on how she builds and engages her renewed fanbase."
Talent manager Carratt agreed that the N-Dubz singer could have another comeback to the spotlight in the pipeline later down the tracks.
She said: "Tulisa came across very well on screen and was happy to pull her weight with chores and was well-liked by campmates. I feel she just became overwhelmed after her eviction with all the media attention."
Speculation was rife that Tulisa had a falling out with her friend running her social media account while she was in the jungle as she deleted all the I'm a Celebrity posts. However, the singer shut the gossip down and instead said she was taking time for herself.
Carratt added: "It must be quite difficult for her after being away from the spotlight for a decade and just quietly getting on with her music with N-Dubz to be thrown right back into the media spotlight. I do however still have hopes that we will see her back on the TV in some form of guest judging role, maybe on the Voice."
Of course, Tulisa is back on our TVs with the rest of the I'm a Celebrity cast with the Coming Out reunion show on Friday.
