I’m A Celebrity: Charlotte Crosby reveals she’s been BANNED from ITV show

Uh-oh! It looks like Charlotte Crosby’s past has finally caught up with her, as the former Geordie Shore star has revealed that she has been BANNED from entering the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here camp.

On Sunday night the 26-year-old angered fans after confirming that she was heading into the creepy-crawly ridden jungle this year, only to reveal it was a joke moments later.

She tweeted to her 3.03m followers: “Yep I am going on @imacelebrity I can’t wait… so excited man.”

The reality TV star later exposed the prank, and explained her reason behind the wind-up, revealing that she wanted to prove to ITV producers that she should go on the show.

“Everyone was so excited so I’m hoping it gave the producers the push to think they should let me on the show,” she told The Sun. “My fans were so upset because they want us on.”

She also claimed that show bosses have banned her from the survival-themed series after her lewd behaviour on other reality shows, including Celebrity Big Brother in 2013.

“I can’t go on as they won’t have us, I’ve been banned because I was on Big Brother and they won’t follow suit,” Charlotte confessed. “You know I’d eat a kangaroo’s testicle and everything. I love I’m A Celeb, so much.”

ITV aren’t the only broadcaster to reject her reality application, as the northern lass also revealed that she isn’t allowed in the BBC ballroom either, explaining: “I would love to do Strictly Come Dancing.

“I want that to happen so bad. I’m not allowed on that as they don’t think I’m PG enough. Kids love me though. I’m gonna try me best to get on that.”

Charlotte, who won the twelfth series of Celebrity Big Brother, is possibly hoping to follow in the footsteps of her Geordie Shore co-star, Vicky Pattison, who won I’m A Celebrity last year.

Vicky has experienced great success since leaving the jungle, and will soon be joining Chris Ramsey, Joe Swash and Stacey Soloman in Australia again for a new spin-off show I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp.

I’m A Celebrity starts November 13 at 9pm on ITV.
