I'm A Celebrity viewers have said a new twist that will see a camper win a ticket to the Cyclone isn’t fair.

The final challenge on the ITV show is a huge favourite both with fans, and contestants who often enter the jungle with making it to the Cyclone in mind. But hosts Ant and Dec have announced that this year it will be a little different.

Making a surprise appearance in camp they revealed that over the next two days the campmates will all be competing to win a ticket to Cyclone, with the winner guaranteed immunity from the next two vote offs as well as a coveted place in the epic challenge.

The Cyclone is usually the final hurdle for the remaining four campers who have been left standing after a series of public votes. They then have to battle wind, water and other obstacles as they make their way up what looks like a giant slip and slide.

But Ant and Dec told the contestants that this year someone could win a Golden Ticket straight to the fun trial.

The campers were told that they would be split into two groups of four to take part in a trial at the Arcade of Agony. There would then be two winners from each group who would go through to the final.

However, many viewers posted messages on social media saying that they weren’t keen on the shake-up and that the path through to the Cyclone should have remained the same as in all previous series of the ITV show.

"This immunity ticket thing isn’t fair," one miffed viewer wrote on X. "Terrible idea should be up to the public to decide," said another.

Another said: "Immunity from 2 public votes 4 days before the final is madness". "What even is this twist?" asked another baffled viewer, as another posted crying emojis as they asked: "Why aren’t we voting for Cyclone."

"It's a good thing everyone is likeable this year but besides the point, in the 20+ years of the show it's always been the public choosing who gets into the final and who does the Cyclone," pointed out somebody else.

One fan posted: "I don’t think this is fair way at all... Let US THE PUBLIC DECIDE."

“That’s one way to try and fix getting someone unpopular to the final four,” another viewer commented.

One stormed: "How is this fair? This changes everything, the final 4 do the Cyclone as voted for by the public! Don't like this at all."

However, someone else said it was a “clever psychological 'Cyclone Ticket' twist”.

“Because the public votes are so close given that they are all so popular, they've turned it into a competitive trial against each other to gently divide and conquer,” they wrote.
