Kadeena Cox and Arlene Phillips will be put to the test in snake-filled chambers for the latest I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! trial.

The Paralympian and the choreographer are the stars hoping to win the 11 meals for camp this time as the show returns after bad weather put a stop to production for a number of episodes.

The pair take part in 'Bed Chamber of Chills', which sees them lying down in the dark in separate confined spaces trying to win stars while snakes slither around them.

In a preview clip, it appears the contestants are guiding stars round a maze above their heads before slotting them into compartments.

With critters crawling around her, an unnerved Cox hurries her teammate on as she struggles with the scary conditions.

“Arlene, I really want to get out of here please, please, please,” she exclaims in a panicked tone before screaming: “There’s something touching my leg!”

“I think I might’ve dropped one in this bed,” Phillips replies as Cox urges her to find it.

However, as Phillips locates it to put it in its place she seems to knock another star out before presenters Ant and Dec issue a time warning.

Viewers will have to wait to see if the pair manage to successfully finish the task and bring the maximum number of stars back to camp.

Production had to be halted on the ITV show last week after Storm Arwen damaged the show’s base in Abergele, North Wales.

The contestants were taken out of Gwrych Castle and placed in hotel isolation while repairs were made to ensure to programme could continue.

The campmates lost one of their number last week as Richard Madeley had to leave the contest after seeking medical attention at a hospital.

Although it transpired the presenter was fine, as he had broken the ‘Covid bubble’ of the camp he was not able to return.
