I’m A Celebrity: Lady Colin Campbell Refuses Bushtucker Trial Due To Cousin’s Tragic Murder

Celebrities have gone hungry in the I’m A Celebrity camp after Lady Colin Campbell refused to take part in the Bushtucker Trial called ‘Panic Pit’ due to her cousin’s tragic murder.

The task would have involved Lady C crawling through a tunnel and into a pit, where she would have stayed for up to ten minutes, which each minute winning a meal for the camp.

And of course, she wouldn’t have been alone in there thanks to the jungle critters.

However, after Ant and Dec described the task, Lady C told them: “I’m not starting it, sorry. I have a cousin who was murdered by being buried alive, I’m not doing anything that is coffin-like or involves coffins.

“I’m really sorry about this, I would gladly be a sport.”

Heading back to camp to explain why she had not completed the task, her fellow campmates were sympathetic to her reasoning.

Tony Hadley went to the bush telegraph and said: “She told us the tragic story of a relative buried alive and she was very clear to us she wouldn’t do any trial like that and we completely understood that.”

Susannah Constantine later added: “We all support her.”

Kieron Dyer told her in the camp: “I still love you darling,” to which she said: “Thank you darling, you’re such a star, such a wonderful guy, I need to tell your mother what a great job she did.”

Lady C wasn’t the only one who faced darkness and bugs last night though, with youngest campmates George Shelley, Jorgie Porter, Brian Friedman, Yvette Fielding and Kieron Dyer taking a ride on the Ghost Train with some jungle friends in order to win hot meals for their older campmates.

However, despite ghosts being her forte, Yvette bowed out of the task before the end, with Jorgie following suit after the cockroaches got a little TOO friendly.
