I'm A Celeb: Bookies' favourite Georgia Toffolo was this year's lowest paid contestant
Made In Chelsea‘s Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo has impressed fans of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! this series, with the 23-year-old reality star the bookies’ favourite to win this year.
However, it has now been reported that Toff was the lowest paid contestant this series – earning just £13,000 for her three-week stint in the Australian jungle.
To compare, boxer Amir Khan was paid a staggering £300,000.
It is thought that Toff is one of the lowest paid stars in I’m A Celeb history – even lower than what show bosses gave Joel Dommett and Ashley Banjo last year, who were relatively unknown at the time.
Speaking to The Sun, a source explained: “Georgia has been gold from the start this series but ITV bosses have got her for a bargain price.
“She jumped at the chance to go into the jungle and producers didn’t need to throw much money at her. Compare her to Amir’s fee and they’ve got her for a snip.
“He’s the highest-earning contestant ever, even eclipsing what they paid Katie Price. But Toff is the one providing all the entertainment.”
Toff shot to fame on E4’s reality show Made In Chelsea, also fronting a series of brands – including lingerie company Love Lilly.
The star is currently 1/4 favourite to win I’m A Celeb, with Amir and comic Iain Lee joint second favourites.
