'I'm A Celeb': Declan Donnelly corrects Holly Willoughby after she gets pun wrong

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! presenter Declan Donnelly snapped at co-host Holly Willoughby just seconds into Tuesday night’s episode (November 27) as she missed a golden opportunity for a joke.

In their scripted opening segment, the presenters were teasing what was to come on the episode when Willoughby attempted a play on words in reference to Noel Edmonds’ box-opening show Deal or No Deal.

Edmonds took part in a Dingo Dollar challenge involving fishing, which prompted Willoughby to say: “Fish Or No Fish”.

But Donnelly, annoyed by the pun, disappointedly responded: “No. Eel or no eel. It was right there on a plate for you”.

He then gave her an opportunity to redeem herself by stating that the campmates would be having a bit of a tidy up, to which Willoughby responded: “Clean or no clean”.

“No, Holly!” snapped Donnelly. “It doesn’t work! It’s got to rhyme with Deal or no Deal!”

In one last attempt, Willoughby said: “Noel’s clean party?”, which prompted Donnelly to frustratedly end the segment.

In the episode, Anne Hegerty took on yet another Bushtucker trial titled ‘Hellish Hospital’, in which The Chase star had to navigate her way through blood and guts to find the stars for her fellow campmates.

Of the 11 stars available, she managed to find seven before calling out “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” and ending the trial.

Viewers had previously been angry with the ITV show for ‘embarrassing’ Hegerty in the episode before, after they showed footage of her farting in Nick Knowles’ general direction.

Audiences saw newly appointed camp leader Nick Knowles and Hegerty wake up in the Imperial Palace, having both enjoyed the luxury of a proper night’s sleep on a mattress.

Knowles said: “The new accommodation is very nice, it’s nice to have a mattress to sleep in but in actual fact I think I prefer sleeping in the open now.”

Hegerty was perhaps a little too comfortable, however, as she rolled out of bed and broke wind.

Embarrassed, she quickly apologised, saying: “Excuse me, sorry.”
