I'm A Celeb star rushes to Dean McCullough's defence after 'terrible' time in camp
Former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star Scarlette Douglas says she is "looking forward" to seeing more of Dean McCullough's feisty side and believes he could win.
BBC Radio 1 presenter Dean has been one of the main stars of the show due to his constant Bushtucker Trials and mild clashes with his campmates over the chores.
During the most recent episode, the 32-year-old was slammed by his co-stars as he revealed he hated being in charge of the water and reluctantly helped Melvin Odoom to do it.

The DJ has also previously gone out of his way to annoy Tulisa Contostavlos by singing around her in the morning, despite her warning him not to.
Scarlette, 37, who took part on the show in 2022, believes viewers will see more of Dean's feisty side as time goes on.
"We're definitely going to see more of that feisty side of Dean. He has it in him, and we know it from the radio," she told Reach PLC via Sky Vegas.
"He is outspoken, and I love that about him. He's been my favourite to date, him and Maura [Higgins].
"The longer they're in there, the more hungry they will get and the more tired they'll get – so there will be more of a chance that there's going to be bickering.
"There are going to be disagreements and we will see his spicy side for sure – I'm looking forward to it!”
Addressing ongoing calls to stop the same person from doing the trials repeatedly, Scarlette doesn't believe such a rule should be enforced.
"When Dean was first going in there, it was terrible – but now he’s just doing so much better," she added.
"We can see how people overcome their fears, and it is a good show for exactly that – to show you that no matter what you will get there if you put your mind to it."
Scarlette predicts Dean or Maura for the win, due to their personalities and having the most air time.
"Maura and Dean together are just great fun," she added. "I could see it being those two who make it to the end.
"Dean is getting a lot of air-time and he is funny doing the trials, so he is going to keep getting voted.
"He could at least be in the final three – he'd be hilarious. I'm putting him in as my winner – I would like him to win the show.”
On the other hand, she believes Melvin Odoom may be the first contestant to be voted out as he's "not had enough chances to show his personality as of yet".
Dean is set to take part in another trial named The Rank Bank this evening, alongside Danny Jones and Alan Halsall, who will compete against each other to win stars.
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
