With just weeks away until the series is due to return, anticipation for this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! is building.

ITV has now released the teaser trailer for the series, which shows hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly aboard HMS Bushtucker and lost at sea.

While some celebrities have already quashed the rumours that they won’t be taking part, others have remained quiet, which is keeping fans guessing.

So, who could be heading down under to the jungle this year? Here are the latest rumours…

Former Girls Aloud member Coyle is rumoured to be taking up a place in the jungle this year.

Sources have said the popstar is primed and ready to take part in the show and the producers are hoping she will spill secrets about her time in the famous noughties band and her alleged feud with Cheryl.

One told the Sun: "Nadine is a big name and ITV was keen to get her. It’s no secret there’s no love lost between them [Coyle and Cole], and Nadine is refreshingly honest about what went on from her perspective. And I’m a Celebrity could well be the start of something big again for her."

The ex-England rugby star has been spending time commentating on the Rugby World Cup matches, which finishes in the first week of November.

He also retired from the game in May this year. Now he's rumoured to be gearing up for a new challenge - facing some fearsome bushtucker trials in in Australia.

According to sources, Haskell is believed to be a fountain of knowledge on celebrity stories due to his friendship with Prince Harry and his marriage to Chloe Madeley, the daughter of Richard and Judy Finnegan.

The Made In Chelsea star was devastated when he had to pull out of this year’s Strictly before the live shows even began following a foot injury.

In an appearance on This Morning earlier this month Laing did not rule out appearing on other reality shows, explaining that his foot is expected to heal in eight weeks.

Asked by co-presenter Phillip Schofield whether he could skate, he replied: “Can I skate? Hey, there we go. Ready for it. Oh, the jungle, let me do all of them. Just one to the next.”

Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya has had enormous success since being crowned champ of the popular baking show in 2015.

"I'd love to do the jungle though, if I was offered," she told Lorraine Kelly recently. "I like being dirty and mucky and like the idea of living in the outdoors, flying out the planes."

Olivia Buckland

Love Island's Olivia has had a pretty busy year, having married her love and co-star Alex Bowen in a romantic fairytale wedding.

And it looks like she has her eyes on the jungle crown after coming second on Love Island.

Last year, she admitted: "I'd love to do I’m A Celebrity, and I'd love to meet Holly.

"I've met Holly a couple of times but to do that on I'm A Celeb and if Ant and Dec could make a comeback I'd absolutely adore that.

"I love them two and I watched them when I was younger so to be next to them doing something ridiculous, that would be epic."

Summer Monteys-Fullam

Paul Hollywood’s ex girlfriend seems keen make a name for herself away from her highly-publicised relationship with the Bake Off star.

The 24-year-old iked two posts on Instagram calling for her to join this year’s line-up.

A source also claimed to Mail On Sunday that she is planning on using the show as a springboard to secure her own show about horses.

“Summer is the person to sign up right now and she is keen to get herself on television,” they said. “Obviously I’m A Celebrity would be her top prize.”

After announcing she would be leaving her popular role as Michelle Connor in the next few months, could the Coronation Street star be working on entering the jungle?

Writing in her OK! magazine column, Kym sparked rumours, saying: “I’d be terrible! I wouldn’t like the bugs or the sleep deprivation and I’d never jump out of a helicopter, my camp mates would probably starve because I’d fail to win any stars… never say never.”

John Bercow

Now, imagine Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow making his way into the jungle. He has some free time now after announcing this month that he would be stepping down from his position.

Fans of the ITV show were quick to flock to Twitter to reveal that they were very sure he would sign up for the show, tweeting: "I bet you John Bercow will be a contestant on I’m a Celeb or some other reality TV show."

“John Bercow stepping down just in time for him to join I’m a Celeb” joked another.

Bercow would not be the first politician to join the show, following in the footsteps of the likes of Nadine Dorries and Kezia Dugdale.

Alan Halsall, who has played Tyrone Dobbs on Coronation Street since 1998, is reportedly edging into signing up for the series after an Instagram post appeared to tease his involvement.

However, one source close to his ex-wife and former co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson told The Sun that she would “prefer Alan to remain in Weatherfield.”

The former footballer spends a lot of his time in TV studios so he would be no stranger to sitting around and talking for the cameras.

If he joins he would be taking a leaf out of Harry Redknapp's book, telling the Jonathan Ross Show: "From the point of view of eating anything, I eat everything and anything, so from that point of view I would do it.

"Lying around doing nothing much, I quite fancy it so I'd probably look at it as a bit of a holiday. I would do it, yeah."

Other rumours

Other rumoured contestants include Strictly’s Katya Jones, Gemma Collins – who famously quit the show in 2013 – former footballer Ian Wright, Towie’s James Lock and father-and daughter duo Danny and Dani Dyer.

X Factor winner Myles Stephenson, who is in the band Rak-Su, is also rumoured to be heading into the jungle alongside Bake Off 2018 winner Rahul Mandal.

Love Island’s Georgia Steel, Georgia Harrison and Eyal Booker have also been linked to the show alongside soap stars Jacqueline Jossa and Duncan James.

Long-time morning TV host Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley have also been rumoured to appear on I’m A Celeb.
