I'm A Celebrity 2024 winner decided as 'missing' star backed for ITV victory
While she wasn't on the confirmed I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here line-up and was 'missing in action' as the new series started on Sunday night, Maura Higgins has been ranked as the star most likely to win the show this year.
An early bombshell on Love Island back in 2019, Maura ended up making the ITV final, along with no ex Curtis Pritchard, before being signed up to compete on Dancing on Ice just a few months later. More recently Maura has been a guest host on the American version of Love Island, as well as being romantically linked to Strictly star Pete Wicks.
And now, as rumoured boyfriend Pete made it through to another week in the BBC dance competition, Maura is being backed to win I'm A Celebrity by online betting site FruitySlots.com, who give her a 29% chance of triumphing in the jungle, ahead of early bookies favourite Danny Jones on 17% and GK Barry in third on 14%.

Tipping rumoured I'm A Celebrity late arrival Maura to do well in the jungle, a spokesperson for FruitySlots.com said: “Over the years, I’m A Celebrity and reality stars have been a perfect match, with Made in Chelsea's Sam Thompson recently winning the jungle crown. Now, our Supercomputer suggests that a former Love Island star might be next in line.
"Maura Higgins, already a fan favourite from Love Island, is projected to go far this season. But with strong competition from McFly’s Danny Jones and TikTok sensation GK Barry, it’s no easy journey ahead."
They added: As the celebrities brace themselves for their first night in camp and face the notorious Bushtucker Trials, the race is wide open. Only time will tell who has the resilience and determination to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle this season.”
