I’m a Celebrity… South Africa spoilers follow.
It’s been known for a little while that Janice would leave the South African jungle after sustaining an injury, but the news was relayed to the camp via a note, which Helen Flanagan read out.
“Dear beloved campmates. Never in my life have I had such an extraordinary experience with all of you animals,” read the note.
“You are the new BFFs and the loves of my life, and I will miss you until I get to see you again. Kisses to all of you – I love you and miss you. Love Janice. PS Joe [Swash] – I’m still p***** at you and I will never get over it. Joke – all the love.”
All the stars stated that they would miss Janice, with the campmates noting her energy and humour in the camp.
Following her exit, Janice said: “I could have been the one to be second runner up or even win this series because I was just so steadfast and physiological with it.
"I was just waiting and biding my time with it all. I did my fair share in standing up, falling down. Getting my face in the dirt.
“I felt like they could have possibly cleaned my wounds and set me back on my path in there. But Production made the right decision, in the end, to not send me back in.
"I'm just sad it ended that way. I think I could have gone back in and gone on further,” she added.
Janice wasn’t the only celebrity to leave the jungle in tonight’s episode, with Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo and Andy Whyment sent packing after losing the trial to Myleene Klass and Jordan Banjo.
I'm a Celebrity… South Africa airs on Mondays-Fridays at 9pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
