I'm A Celebrity: Jamie Lomas still hasn't been told about six-year-old daughter's hospital dash

While he has been surviving the Aussie outback for ITV reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! for our amusement, actor Jamie Lomas’ young daughter was rushed to hospital, with six-year-old Polly being left “terrified” when she was gasping for breath late at night last week.

However, show bosses still haven’t told Jamie about Polly’s medical ordeal, it has been reported.

Earlier this week, Jamie’s ex-wife, actress Kym Marsh, detailed the hospital visit in her OK! magazine column, and a source has since revealed that it is not information that I’m A Celeb bosses feel that Jamie should be told about.

Speaking to The Sun, an insider explained: “He hasn’t been told while he’s in the jungle.

“Because it happened while Jamie was in the jungle, it’s not something he’d know about.”

Writing for her column, Kym confirmed that Polly had been diagnosed with croup.

She detailed: “There was a bit of a drama in our household last week. Polly started to develop a cough and a cold, but on Wednesday night at 11.30pm she just started gasping for breath.

“I had to rush her over to Salford Royal Hospital. It turned out she’d got croup. It’s something that children up to the age of three can get but Polly is six.

“The hospital were brilliant and the staff put Polly at ease because she was terrified. It was really horrible to see.”

Polly is said to be recovering at home now, enjoying watching her dad on TV,

Speaking about her ex, Kym confessed that she has been voting for him to do the horrible Bushtucker Trials at her daughter’s request.

She shared: “My daughter’s just delighted – it’s her dad! When he comes on, she’s like Tigger, full of beans. She loves it, she’s like, ‘When’s he going to eat something horrible?’

“She wants to vote for him on everything. The more he does the more she sees him.”
