I'm a Celebrity names first camp leaders in opening episode
I'm a Celebrity 2024 spoilers follow.
The latest series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here kicked off tonight (November 17), with a fresh batch of stars ready to start their jungle journey.
It wasn't long before the celebrities were thrown into the deep end, as hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealed an epic race to determine the first leaders of the camp.
Strictly's Oti Mabuse, N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos, Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough, Loose Women's Jane Moore and McFly's Danny Jones had to skydive from their respective choppers, before pairing up with one of the other five celebrities to complete the race.

The winners would get to enjoy the perks of sleeping in the Leaders' Lodge and being exempt from the first Bushtucker trial.
To determine who would set off first, the celebs drank a cocktail of blended bull's penis, fish eye and a vomit fruit garnish. Danny finished his drink the fastest and, after skydiving, was able to choose his partner first.
The final pairings were Danny & former boxer Barry McGuigan (Team Orange), Tulisa & Corrie's Alan Halsall (Team Red), Jane & content creator GK Barry (Team Green), Dean & TV personality Coleen Rooney (Team Yellow), and Oti & presenter Melvin Odoom (Team Pink).

"Melvin, I'm so so sorry! Wagatha Christie you're coming with me!" said Dean as he picked Coleen for his partner. With Melvin and Oti in last place, they were out of the race and had to trek to camp.
Meanwhile, in order to continue their journey, the remaining pairs were tasked with finding a key inside a Hell Hole, which had various decoys and creepy crawlies. Alan and Tulisa were first to find a correct key, which unlocked a boat for the next challenge.
The duo remained in the lead as they reached the next Hell Hole, before rushing to the final stage and winning the race. However, the camp leaders were then faced with the difficult decision of which team would face the Mausoleum of Misery trial.
Thankfully, their choice paid off, as Danny and Barry won five stars for the camp. But will the winning streak continue when GK Barry faces the Vile Volcano trial tomorrow?
