Holly Willoughby is reportedly ‘a nervous wreck’ over the beasts that she’s set to encounter on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

The This Morning presenter, who will co-host the show with Declan Donnelly, is said to be ‘more terrified of jungle critters than all the stars’, according to Bob McCarron, the show’s medic.

The show kicks off this weekend, with the likes of Nick Knowles, Anne Hegerty and Harry Redknapp all heading to the Australian jungle camp.

But Willoughby will be keeping her distance from the Bushtucker Trials.

“Holly’s more scared than all the celebrities put together, I’m not joking,” Bob The Medic told the Daily Mirror.

“All I have to do is talk to her and look at the floor and she goes: ‘What’s on the floor?’

“What are you looking at the floor for?’ When they do the trials I think they need a camera just on Holly because she’ll be squirming.”

Willoughby is taking over from Ant McPartlin in presenting the show, after he announced he’d be taking a year off work following his conviction for drink driving.

I’m A Celebrity… launches this Sunday night on ITV.
