Former I'm A Celeb star Annabel Giles left a substantial sum of over £400,000 to her children after passing away without a will, it has been reported. The model and TV presenter tragically died from a rare brain tumour last November at the age of 64.

Documents obtained by The Sun reveal that the former model had an estate valued at £769,000. After expenses were deducted, the total inheritance amounted to £430,320.

Despite not having a will or specifying who should receive the money, the High Court awarded the estate to her two children Molly and Ted, on Monday, according to the publication. Giles was a model for global fashion brands including Max Factor and later secured TV roles on ITV's hit show Razzmatazz and BBC's children's programme Going Live!

Annabel was diagnosed with a stage four Glioblastoma, a severe form of brain tumour, last July. After undergoing radiotherapy to extend her life, she passed away in November at a hospice in Brighton.

In their social media tribute, her children said their mother died at Martlets Hospice in Hove after four months of "remarkable resilience and strength". They shared: "Mum was truly one of a kind, an enigma to those privileged to share her life. True to her nature, she kept spirits high and maintained her quick wit until the very end.

"Her humour and laughter will leave us inspired to live life to the fullest, just as she always did." They said she had been diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma, and said that in her final weeks she had been passionate about raising awareness of this type of tumour, "embodying her lifelong commitment to helping others".

She is perhaps best known for her appearance in the 13th series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here in 2013, where she joined the jungle as a late entry on day five. She was voted out in 12th place.

In 2018, she made a return to television in the ITV reality show Our Shirley Valentine Summer. Additionally, Giles, who also co-hosted Posh Frocks and New Trousers, made guest appearances on Have I Got News For You, Through the Keyhole, and Noel's House Party.

She was married to Ultravox frontman Midge Ure after meeting when she was an extra in one of the band's music videos. Their marriage ended after four years and following the birth of their daughter, Molly.

Annabel later welcomed her son Ted in 1998 but kept the identity of his father private. In her final years, Annabel dedicated herself to counselling and psychotherapy, having trained in mental health.
