Lack of food sure can make people grumpy..

Especially I’m a Celeb’s Dennis Wise, who is fast losing patience with Iain Lee and his failure to win bushtucker trials – meaning the whole camp goes hungry.

However the Great British public are evidently a bit more kinder of heart and are accusing Dennis of bullying poor Iain, who yesterday revealed joined the show to pay his mum’s medical fees.

During a heated debate whether Iain was right to put himself forward to do challenges if he keeps failing to win anything, Iain hit back at former Chelsea footballer Wise, 50, who wasn’t impressed with his lack of success.

‘My only problem – and I’ll be honest with you, Iain – is that you’ve said ‘get me out of here’ twice and what I don’t want to do is we have no dinner and so….”, Wise said.

‘OK, but I also got 11 stars on one’, Iain replied.

Dennis continued: ‘I get that but you’ve also said ‘get me out of here’ twice; out of the three you’ve done you failed…”

‘No, I failed one of them, the other was a challenge,’ snapped Iain.

Before Iain had chance to withdraw his name from doing any challenges ever again, Dennis chirped in with more criticism, if you come back with nothing everyone will be upset.

‘Well, Iain, the problem is you’ve gone a couple of times and you’ve come back with nothing, so that causes me a slight issue,’ Dennis persisted.

Dennis is by no means the first camp mate to be accused of bullying, after claims Iain was playing a game – which, in fairness, is what it is, isn’t it?

According to The Mirror, producers are worried that they may have to remove another celeb from the reality show, after Jack Maynard left just three days in, after a mutual decision by his management and ITV, after allegations he was sexually suggestive and abusive to a 14-year-old girl when he was 17.

An insider claims: ‘Producers have been holed up in meetings debating whether to reprimand Dennis or remove him altogether.

‘They have a duty of care to all contestants they take very seriously.’

However, an ITV rep says there’s no truth to the claim, but only time (and the public vote) will tell just how long Dennis stays around.
