I'm A Celebrity's Danny Jones caught up in snake 'panic' on ITV show as experts rush in
Danny Jones was involved in some serious drama as I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here returned on Sunday night, with experts having to rush into rescue him from a snake, right after he admitted that they were his biggest fear.
Having been a member of hugely popular Brit boyband McFly for 20 years and won The Masked Singer earlier this year as Piranha, Danny has been made the early favourite to triumph as the ITV show returns for a new series. He is on the I'm A Celebrity 2024 line-up alongside other stars like Coleen Rooney, Tulisa, Alan Halsall and GK Barry.
Danny was one of five stars to feature in the first part of I'm A Celebrity's launch on Sunday, as he, Tulisa, Oti Mabuse, Dean McCullough and Jane Moore were greeted by Ant and Dec and made to down disgusting drinks before heading off in helicopters to do a sky dive.

After landing, they met the other five celebs, with the 10 stars then divided into pairs to take part in a race to become the first camp leaders, which was won by former X Factor judge Tulisa and Coronation Street actor Alan. One of the first decisions they had to make as leaders was who would do the first trial of the new series - The Mausoleum of Misery - with the unlucky pair being Danny and boxing great Barry McGuigan.
Midway through the trial, things took an alarming turn, as Danny exclaimed: “I’ve got a snake up my shorts!” and, while host Dec responded: “That is what’s known here as a trouser snake” by the time the trial ended, Danny was clearly panicked with him shouting: “Can you get it out of my shorts!”
With an animal handler called in to safely remove the snake, Danny then had to unzip his shorts where the huge snake was hiding, with the singer then telling Ant and Dec: "That's the most vulnerable I've ever felt!"
