ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Will return to screens tonight. From Sunday, November 17, ten celebrities will compete to be crowned 2024 King or Queen of the Jungle.
The reality show, hosted by presenters Ant and Dec, will see contestants carry out tough and gruesome challenges in their new home of the Australian jungle for three weeks. Amongst the lineup is BBC Radio 1 presenter Dean McCullough.
McCullough, 32, has had an over-10-year career in TV and radio broadcasting and now has his own daytime show on Radio 1 on weekdays from 1-3:30pm. McCullough also presented on LGBT+ radio station Gaydio, and hosted the shows ‘Pride Hits’ and ‘That’s Iconic!’ on 4Music. He has also worked presenting specials such as ‘Sam Smith at the BBC’ and ‘Westlife at Wembley’.
After announcing he would be joining the cast of this season’s I’m A Celeb, Dean wrote to his 28.1k Instagram followers on his account @thedeanlife. In the post, he said: “This is the maddest thing I’ve ever kept secret and I'm so glad we can finally LOL about it on here…it’s either gonna be the adventure of a lifetime or an absolute nightmare but whatever the jungle has in store.”
