I'm A Celebrity's GK Barry sent 'proud' message by footballer girlfriend

I'm A Celebrity star GK Barry has been supported by her girlfriend, Ella Rutherford. The TikTok star is among the favourites to be crowned Queen of the jungle.

Ella took to Instagram to share a message about her partner Grace, known as GK Barry. She said: "You count them stars Queen 9/10 she's smashed that, never in doubt. So proud of my lil jungle babe." The image showed GK Barry taking on the Vile Volcano bushtucker trial.

After seeing the emotional side of GK Barry, fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, with the same predictions. One fan said: "You just know she's going to be on your screen screaming every night because people will keep voting her to do the trials." Another added "GK Barry has just nominated herself for every trial."

After a public vote, Barry was selected to tackle the jungle’s “Vile Volcano”, which saw her face rats, lizards, snakes, and plenty of other creepy crawlies. Despite screaming when trying to find a key among cockroaches on Sunday's episode, the internet personality returned to camp with an impressive nine from ten stars.

GK Barry is in a relationship with England striker, Ella Rutherford who has featured six times for Ipswich this season. GK Barry discussed about how the pair got together on her Saving Grace podcast. She said: "I saw her Instagram and I thought hello, I followed her and she followed me.

"She messaged me and we've never moved out. Literally five seconds in I was like 'is it too early to say I love you' probably. So I had to wait about four weeks."

Prior to jetting off to Australia GK Barry left a life-sized cardboard cut-out with her girlfriend. The couple recently jetted off on holiday together. Ella shared photos on social media of the pair enjoying some quality time together. In one photo, GK Barry was sporting a pink t-shirt embellished with: "I love my girlfriend".
