I'm A Celebrity star Tulisa Contostavlos looks set to land a major blow to her rivals in the jungle, as bookies make her 'the one to watch' in the jungle and odds on her winning the whole thing are slashed.

Having been in the spotlight in a massive way a decade ago, thanks to the success of her group N-Dubz, solo number 1 Young and the fact she was a judge on The X Factor, making history with Little Mix in 2011; singer Tulisa is back on primetime TV in a big way right now, thanks to signing up for the jungle. And, just days after the ITV show made its return for a new series, she has made some serious in-roads in the betting, climbing from one of the outsiders to now being right behind early favourite Danny Jones.

After she won the first challenge of I'm A Celebrity 2024 on Sunday night, alongside Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall,. viewers at home were quick to praise Tulisa for her work ethic and 'have a go' attitude and, following her tender moment with McFly star Danny on Wednesday, after he broke down in tears talking about his struggle with anxiety, Tulisa is now right on his heels.

At the time of writing on Thursday, Tulisa was second in the odds on who' going to win I'm A Celebrity with Betfred on 5/1, as Danny's odds fell away slightly to 1/1 and late arrival Maura Higgins went into third, ahead of her jungle debut.

Discussing the drastic change in the betting, Betfred's Kayley Cornelius: “This year’s I’m a Celeb could shape up to be a battle of the pop stars for the jungle crown. McFly frontman Danny Jones is the current favourite, sitting at odds-on to win. However, since the series launched, there’s been a huge surge in support for former N-Dubz star Tulisa. Once a 20/1 outsider when the market opened, her odds have now shortened dramatically to a competitive 5/1.

“With Tulisa planning to step away from the spotlight after her jungle stint, many fans are rallying behind the former X Factor judge, hoping she’ll make her last major public appearance one to remember—and go out with a bang. That said, this is shaping up to be the tightest I’m a Celeb market bookmakers have seen in over a decade. With what’s being hailed as 'the best line-up yet' and so many beloved, high-profile stars in the mix, this series is anyone’s game!”
