I'm A Celeb's Coleen Rooney flooded with support after family update while she's on ITV show

Coleen Rooney was flooded with support after a heartfelt update from her four sons. The Croxteth native has already won over the hearts of fans as she has emerged as a favourite on I'm A Celebrity.

The 38-year-old, who is married to Wayne Rooney, has travelled Down Under in a bid to be crowned Queen of the Jungle. Coleen competed in her first Bushtucker Trial last night when she took on the Absolute Carnage.

The mum-of-four was praised by fans as she refused to shout "I'm a celebrity, get me out here" as she was locked in a car with cockroaches, crickets, giant mealworms and rats. Coleen was partnered with Dean McCullough on the challenge and they worked together to earn nine stars.

Coleen's friends and family are managing her social media accounts during her stint away. They have taken to the platform today to reveal how proud her four children are of her performance in the jungle so far.

Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass were all holding a star in celebration of Coleen's performance in the trial. The caption said: "When you wake up and watch your mum smash the trial and take home them stars!! Proud boys."

Celebrity fans and followers took to the comments to swoon after the update. Megan Pickford, who is married to Everton number one Jordan Pickford, shared a series of heart emojis.

Fans also said it's surprise Coleen is doing so well in the jungle as raising four children has been the perfect preparation. Lyns said: "She has 4 boys to look after, that is like a trial every day for her so we knew she’d absolutely smash it."

Mitch commented: "Your Mum was brilliant she comes across such a lovely person so down to earth well done Coleen." Isobel posted: "Aww bless them. Gorgeous boys, no wonder they’re so proud."

Coleen was voted for the Bushtucker Trial after her husband, Wayne, put out a callout on his social media channels asking fans to vote for her. The former Everton striker said: "Proud of @ColeenRoo on @imacelebrity she’s doing great. Me and the boys would love to see her doing a trial and we know she’d want to put herself to the test. Rooney was concerned he may have put his foot in it after he shared another update after she had been voted for Absolute Carnage. He said: "Think I could be in trouble here. Good luck @ColeenRoo."
