I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Emily Atack has opened up about her desire to have children in the future.

Former Inbetweeners star Emily won over viewers during her stint on last year's series of the ITV reality show, but now it seems like the star is ready to embark onto her next journey – having her "dream family".

"I've always felt like a lost kid in a supermarket. I'm very emotional and I think I can put all the love I have into a child," she told Star TV Magazine (via Mail Online).

"I have too much love in me. I don't know what to do with it, which is why I get heartbroken all the time. I feel I won't be fully complete until I have my dream family. "

The actress was speaking ahead of her new TV series Adulting, and explained that she's definitely been "soul searching" recently as she's been working on the show.

"I feel like I'm getting to a point where I'm becoming a little bit more stable with who I am and I'm hoping to get just a little bit more self-acceptance," she added.

"I feel like I'm at an age where it's the quarter-life crisis club. It's not quite a midlife crisis, but we're all kind of being thrown into adulthood when we still feel like teenagers."

Emily Atack: Adulting will explore many of the issues that young women face, including starting a family, body insecurities and dating.

"They're subjects that crop up for me which I find the most difficult," Emily explained. "I worry about having babies, like most women do, plus body insecurities. Am I too fat? Why am I so needy with men?

"I feel like I'm in limbo as I approach 30. We're taught about how hard puberty and the menopause will be, but not this particular age.

"I'm not engaged yet and I don't have the two dogs and a nice house. Am I doing life wrong? I really beat myself up about it. This series is a humorous look at that."

Emily Atack: Adulting premieres on Wednesday, June 26 at 10pm on W.
