A young fitness instructor from Grimsby has spoken of his delight at "putting Grimsby on the map" after his videos went viral and made the news across the globe.

Bailey Greetham-Clark, 21, launched Be Great Fitness when he was just 17 years old, and has gone from strength to strength in the years since.

Regularly sharing snippets of his work to his 34,000 TikTok followers, Bailey regularly conducts fitness sessions with schoolchildren, vulnerable adults and elderly people in care homes as part of his mission to make fitness accessible to all.

Last week, much to Bailey's surprise, videos of his work went "viral", with one of the posts being liked by infamous MMA fighter Conor McGregor. He also made it onto the Fox 29 news channel in Philadelphia, USA, as well as German and Portuguese news.

Speaking to Grimsby Live, Bailey said: Our videos have gone viral and they've been picked up by 30+ media outlets and a social media account Pubity which has over 38 million followers on Instagram. Conor McGregor liked one of the posts. Last week I was on Portuguese and German news and Fox 29 in Philadelphia, USA.

"Article after article has been written about me, it really feels like we're putting Grimsby on the map. The amount of references to Grimsby in the coverage has been really nice, and it's just incredible to have this level of exposure for my work.

"I've been doing this for a while now, I started it when I was 17 and now I'm 21. I do it because I love the work and love working with the people I do. I love helping out the community and visiting schools, care homes and charities, and the fact that it's now been picked up globally is mind-blowing.

"I'm just a lad from Grimsby doing what he loves and now American TV presenters are talking about me on the news. It's just absolutely crazy.

"I think one of the most exciting things for me is that there's now the opportunity to expand our work potentially in different locations and bring our mission out there nationally, so we're now looking at expansion with all this press and positivity.

"We want to grow the business and make sure we can help as many people as possible, so we're looking at working at different care homes around the UK. It's all really exciting, it's been brilliant."
