Image issued of wanted Nuneaton man as police urge locals 'call 999'

Police have launched a public appeal to find a wanted man. In doing so, they have issued an image of Steven Hutchinson.

They say that the 30-year-old is wanted in connection with an alleged assault and criminal damage incident that occurred in July. No further details about the incident have been issued.

But officers say that Hutchinson is around 5ft 11ns tall with a stocky build. "Officers believe he may be in the Nuneaton area," a Warwickshire Police spokesperson said.

They have urged anyone who sees Hutchinson to call them immediately on 999. "If you see him, call 999 quoting crime reference: 23/27398/24," the Warwickshire Police spokesperson said.

"If you know of his whereabouts, please call 101, citing the refence number."

Details can also be passed on anonymously by calling the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
