Image released after Tube sex attack on 11-year-old girls in Bethnal Green
Two schoolgirls aged 11 were allegedly sexually assaulted on a Tube train by a man who later tried to grab at one of them on a platform.
Detectives said the pair had been travelling on the Central line from Bethnal Green station when the incident happened.
As they left the carriage at Holborn, a suspect attempted to hold one of the girls and pull her towards him.
Fortunately, she managed to escape between 3pm and 3.30pm on July 16.
The man left the train and boarded a Piccadilly line service.
British Transport Police officers released a CCTV image of a man - wearing a white ‘I Love London’ heart emoji T-shirt, dark cap, shorts and black Nike trainers - seen in the area sitting on a platform. He is also carrying a grey rucksack.
They believe may have information to assist their investigation.
