Image shows how three point turn ended disastrously for Hyundai driver
An attempt to carry out a three point turn ended disastrously for a local driver. In fact, they managed to roll the Hyundai on its side.
They had to raise the alarm with the police and officers from Warwickshire Police's Operational Patrol Unit (OPU) were called to the scene in Shotteswell Village, a village on the outskirts of Stratford-upon-Avon. When police arrived they found that the driver had managed to get out and had not suffered any injuries.
But their car was left on its side in the middle of the road. It meant that police had to close the road while specialist recovery was called in.

The OPU team posted the unusual call-out, along with an image of the scene, on its page on Facebook. It read: "It’s not very often we get called to Shotteswell Village but we did attend this morning to assist this driver who attempted a three point turn and ended up rolling their car onto its side.
"The driver escaped uninjured. We sorted out recovery for the vehicle and have now reopened the road."
