An "impatient" Mercedes driver who was stopped for undertaking vehicles in rush hour traffic was also wanted.

A Mercedes driver was stopped by police yesterday (August 10) after undertaking various cars on the A1245 in south Essex in rush hour traffic.

Officers who pulled them over then discovered the driver was also already wanted.

An Essex Police roads policing spokesman said: "The impatient driver of this Mercedes was stopped for undertaking various vehicles on the A1245 in rush hour traffic.

"It is probably not wise to draw attention to yourself if you’re already wanted."

The driver was issued a Traffic Offence Report for careless driving and arrested for other offences.
