The important M4 road closures that drivers need to know

Several parts of the M4 will either be partially or fully closed this week due to roadworks. The works include maintenance and while they will mostly take place overnight, some drivers may still be affected.

Areas affected this week include Llandarcy and Cardiff Gate. People are being advised to allow for extra travel time as a result of these works.

In Wales:

M4 - Eastbound - J43 Llandarcy

Entry slip road closed for maintenance work between September 8 to September 17 between 8pm and 6am

M4 - Westbound - J30 Cardiff Gate to J32 Coryton

Road closed for roadworks between September 20 to September 21 between 8pm and 6am

M4 - Westbound - J44 Lon Las to J45 Ynysforgan

Delays possible on bridge while maintenance work is carried out between September 16 and September 21 from 8pm to 6am

In England:

M4 - Eastbound - J11

Roadworks are planned with disruption everyday between September 16 to September 19 from 8pm to 6am

M4 - Eastbound - J20

Roadworks are planned with disruption everyday between September 16 to September 19 from 9pm to 6am
