'Impressive' Snowfall Causes Poor Travel Conditions in Missouri

Several inches of snow created hazardous travel conditions in central Missouri on February 5 as a strong winter storm moved eastward, the National Weather Service said.

Joe Russell captured this video of what he described as “impressive snowfall” in Ashland, Missouri that caused “deteriorating travel conditions.”

The NWS warned that central Missouri may accumulate up to four inches of snow, sleet, and ice.

Missourians are encouraged to only travel if necessary and to bring supplies, a local meteorologist said on Twitter.
