IndiRock in Southend showcases first 'queer climb' session

VISITORS to Indirock were climbing high and feeling free as they enjoyed the first Queer Climb session.

The supportive climbing sessions are open to anyone and in particular if someone identifies as queer.

The bouldering wall and coffee shop will run the queer climb sessions run on the first Thursday of every month from 6pm to 10pm.

They will be joined occasionally by Southend Pride volunteers and the sessions include an eclectic selection of music.

The sessions follow on from the sister sessions aimed at those who identify as women or non-binary which take place on the last Thursday of the month.

Indirock is located on the first floor, Victoria Shopping Centre, 362 Chartwell Square, Southend.
