Injuries Reported in Possible Gas Explosion, Fire in Bronx

New York City Fire Department firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at a residence in Bronx, New York, on Tuesday, January 18, following reports of an explosion at the location.

Firefighters said seven people, including three NYPD officers, were injured in the incident, according to local news reports.

New York City Council Member Rafael Salamanca, who was on the scene, said the fire was caused by a gas explosion.
