The Inner Wheel Club of Kirkcudbright is backing the fundraising appeal to refurbish the town’s lifeboat station.

Members of the club, which is celebrating 50 years next year, recently raised £1,300 thanks to a four-day pop-up shop in the town and selling items on the local Facebook page.

John and Christine Collins of the RNLI came along to the recent meeting to receive the cheque from club president Vivien McAlpine and vice president Sue Morris.
