Inquest opens into death of one-year-old baby boy

AN inquest has been opened in Reading into the death of a one-year-old baby.

Matthew Wilson died at Royal Berkshire Hospital on February 4 this year.

Senior coroner Heidi Connor opened the inquest to determine how, when and where Matthew died at Reading Coroner’s Court earlier this month.

The medical cause of death has been given as a 'transection of the right axillary artery'.

A date has yet to be set for a full inquest where more details will be heard.
